Does anyone know, why after a long walk, my hands get stiff, dry, and slightly swollen.?

Dependent position: while walking, if hands in dependent position, not moving, blood pools and fluid collects, might need ace wrap, esp after injury...so gets stiff, swollen and dry because wind dries off moisture by evaporation
