Yes: A pustule or inflammatory papule can develop on the face, trunk, or extremities. You should not try to squeeze or pop the pustule, as this may cause a new bacterial infection. If you choose to treat it, there are some good otc remedies which contain benzoyl peroxide, triclosan, or salicylic acid. I personally have had success with a product called zapzyt, which contains salicylic acid.
