Not entirely sure: I can't diagnose you with reasonable certainty unless i take a history and examine your rash. However, one possibility is an arthropod assault or infestation, possibly by a mite. Scabies may be considered, especially since it is more common in the winter time. As it is highly contagious, there would be others in the household with the itchy rash, though. See your doctor for an accurate diagnosis.
