Yes: Mosquitos are attracted to co2. Pregnancy causes women to increase respiration rates, exhaling relatively more co2 than a man. 1 theory, the other, to explain why my wife gets more bites, hormone changes or she's just sweeter.

ASK your OB: But i would let my aptients do that if you have to ahve a bowel movement, it is better to stay on a stool softener to prevent constiaption but you should call your OB , they may want you to use something else.
