Irregular menses: Regular menstrual interval is between 21-35 days , from first day of menses to first day of menses. In young women the proliferative phase(first part of the cycle preparing for ovulation) may be greater than 14 days. This is not abnormal as long as you are ovulating. If you are not ovulating then menstruation can either be absent or very erratic.
