Smoking/pregnant: Smoking tobacco does not prevent pregnancy. Back in the 1950's my mother was a smoker and I am here responding to your question. We now know that smoking while pregnant is not advised.

Yes: Smoking won't keep you from getting pregnant as far as i know, but is a terribly harmful habit to you and a developing child. Don't smoke if you are pregnant and don't smoke if you are not. Please quit! best to you.
