Anxiety: Any pain can cause anxiety. This is evident by the fact you are concerned enough to ask this very important question. Pain is probably one of the most common reasons that patients seek medical attention. Whether, a practitioner agrees or not with pain being a fifth vitals sign, listening to your patient and carefully assessing their needs is most important to prevent anxiety or other problems.

Any ongoing pain can: Lead to anxiety. Neck pain may simply be a sign of stress, but it can lead to worries about having more serious medical problems ; anxiety. Find a therapist, learn some stress reducing techniques and talk about whatever may be worrying you in your life.
