Check local resource: If you are having issues with hospital bills- first contact the "patient representative" for the hospital. Many times payment plans can be worked out- and also bills can be adjusted based upon your income. Also ask the patient rep where most patients are sent in your area for potential free care. Most communities have some type of reduced cost clinics. Good luck.
