A member asked:

Period 10 days early lasting 9 days while on birth control for 2 months. what is causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low dose?: It's possible that you are on a low dose birth control and the hormones in the birth control, while able to prevent pregnancy, aren't able to overcome the hormones related to your period that your own body is making. I would speak to doctor and consider trying a different pill. Not every pill works for every woman.
