Fillers or fat: Fillers - juvederm, voluma, radiesse, restylane, (dermal fillers) Perlane are used to fill in the tissue underneath wrinkles to erase them. Fat injections can be done in the operating room to fill definciencies of fat and stretch/fill out the overlying wrinkled skin.

Various products: The loss of volume and wrinkles in the mid-face are lifted with radiesse, (dermal fillers) while lines around the mouth are filled and plumped with hyaluronic acids, such as juvederm and expression. Sculpted properly the facial results look and feel natural. Both you and your face get a real lift. "rosenthal liquid facelift" www.Artofplasticsurgery.Com.

Facial wrinkles: There are a variety of fillers used in facial rejuvenation. The idea is to use the filler to replace facial volume lost in aging process and "erase" etched lines. I see excellent results with Radiesse, Artefill and now Voluma XC for volume replacement & Belotero and juvederm XC to soften deep or etched lines that remain. Botox and Xeomin, (incobotulinumtoxin a) used in concert with fillers help get long lasting results.

It Depends . . . : Juvederm is typically a good choice to restore volume and smooth away wrinkles in the face, though Sculptra or Radiesse may also be used in the nasolabial folds, cheeks, glabella lines, marionette lines, etc. Your own fat can also be used as a facial filler! You should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to review your goals and filler options to determine what's best for you.
