CT is good: A high resolution brain ct scan is a good screening tool to look for brain masses or hemorrhages. A better scan is likely an MRI with mra (mr angiography). This has better sensitivity and resolution and also avoids radiation exposure. You have to take into account also any symptoms or history that would suggest an aneurysm or brain tumor. Is there a family history of aneurysms? Are there headaches?
