Please help! what happens when you're getting a tooth taken out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A lot of things: Most depends on who is doing it and the type of anesthesia you will be given. If only local, then you will be numbed and the tooth is removed either in 1 piece or more. If you are being sedated first you are given the sedation and then numbed. The tooth is then removed in a similar fashion as with just local. After there will be some bleeding, swelling, and discomfort. All normal.
