Arm pain with sleep: Try sleeping on your back. It is not possible for us to control our limbs while asleep. If your arm is hyper abducted, internally rotated or adducted, or you are cuddling in some way with your bed partner, it is possible to place excess traction or strain on your arm and irritate the delicate nerve bundles or blood vessels in your axilla, or cause muscular imbalances. See if you get better.
