Yes: Water that is purchased in a bottle must meet FDA standards to be labelled bottled water. Distilled water produced by heating the water and having it evaporated back into water droplets is the safest. No contaminants can be harmful after the water is steam sterilized. Reconstituted pediatric antibiotics are to be prepared with distilled water.
