Lumbar puncture: A severe headache after a lumbar puncture is not uncommon and in most cases resolves on its own. If the headache persists more than a week you will need to see the person who did it for further evaluation. Hearing issues after a lumbar puncture are not at all a common problem, if it persists you might need to see a hearing specialist.
