Get it checked: It is not unusual to have sore breasts immediately before your period. This commonly happens when you have fibrocystic changes in your breast. The soreness should go away once the period is over. The lump should also become softer and smaller. If it is still palpable, you should show it to your doctor and get his/her opinion.
