Can narcotics lower testosterone?

Low testosterone: There are a number of factors which can influence testosterone level, including medications (and narcotics: depending on dose, duration etc). Narcotics decrease T: Major effect. Men on narcotic therapy will become impotent with time, decreased muscle mass, and become apathetic, in part do to the well understood mechanism of suppressing pituitary hormones!
