Most common features: By 18-24 months, children should: -point at what interests them; -look where parent points; -pretend-help with house work; -play with toys appropriately (pretend cars, dolls, etc are real) -maintain eye contact absence of these, or presence of abnormal repetitive behaviors such as rocking or flapping, raise suspicion of autism.
