Cognitive Behavioral: Cognitive behavioral therapy can be extremely helpful in ocd. Depending on need, medications like ssri's and others can also be useful. Please see a psychiatrist for full evaluation and appropriate treatment. Some psychiatrists provide psychotherapy too, but these days many do not. Psychologists are well-trained to provide cognitive behavioral therapy for ocd and many other disorders.
