A member asked:

Male 29 , taking risperdal 2mg, can he take arcalion 200mg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Arcalion =B1: Arcalion =sulbutiamine = a synthetic derivative of thiamine (vitamine b1) and it supposes to cross the blood-brain-barrier and gets to your brain better. I can't be for sure with this specific thiamine derivartive, but the thiamine we have otc does not have interaction with Risperdal so i don't see why not. But, must ask why you need it or want to take it? Please consult your doc... Good luck.
