Contact Doctor: Many times use of pain medication, poor eating ability, lack of food in the bowel area, post-anesthesia, etc. Can result in constipation. Use of fiber products and stood softeners are often helpful. If very constipated, you may be told to use oil retention enema products to help. Do not take a bowel stimulant medications without speaking to your doctor.
