Is messiness a symptom of add or depression?

Possibly both: It would be possible for someone with either condition to be messy, but it would be for different reasons. In add the person may be very distractible and unfocused; in depression s/he may be very low energy and unmotivated to clean up. A clinical evaluation with a skilled mental health professional would be able to differentiate. Sometimes a person could have both conditions.

COULD BE: Would really need a lot more information to answer this as messiness can have many factors that contribute. ADD and or depression can result in messiness. You may need to really look more deeply and get an evaluation to diagnose ADD or depression
