Will autism be formed in a child when they have been physically abused?

Not likely.: Abused children certainly may become withdrawn and non-communicative. But the diagnosis of the autistic spectrum is usually made earlier in life --- no eye contact, speech delay, repetitive hand and speech patterns, even developmental regression.
