Not a birth control: Douching may wash out some of the sperm but not all the sperm and it only takes one sperm to fertilize an egg. If you do not want to get pregnant try the emergency birth control pill within 72 hours of sex unless there is a contraindication to your using it. Next time be proactive with birth control if you do not want to get pregnant.

Dubious: The peroxide can kill the sperm, but I am unaware of this as being an effective practice at prevention of pregancy.
