Perforation: There is a danger of perforation of the gut wall that could be very serious. The plastic fork is not visible on an x-ray. However if ther is free air in the abdomen that will indicate a serious problem. I recommend immediate medical attention. A perforation is extremely dangerous.

Dought it: Most kids that age quietly pass such a small object in their poo in 3-4 days with no issues.If the kid will not eat or drink and or settle to your consoling efforts, an urgent eval could sort it out. If the kids tummy is soft and s/he is quiet and playful between fussy periods, it is likely something minor.
