Can tramadol treat gout?

Pain only: Tramadol is for pain and can alleviate the pain from gout. Gouty attack still has to be treated appropriately with Colchicine if ok and nonsteroidals for the inflammation if tolerable.Prevention then will be appropriate when the attack is over.

Tramadol: No. Pain yes, gout no. I like Indocin (indomethacin) for patients that can have it . Colchicine is a distant second choice. See your podiatrist
