Not a good idea: Twin deliveries are inherently riskier than single deliveries; the safest place to deliver them is in a hospital where something can be done if something goes wrong.

Things to ponder: About 1/2 of twins deliver before 36 wks & 1/2 of them go to the intensive care unit for respiratory distress & spend a week or more. If the 1st or 2nd twin comes butt first, its head pinches down on the blood flow of the umbilical cord which can cause lack of oxygen/damage. You face at least 1hour delay in transport to a hospital when something goes bad & that can be fatal.
