Tremors: At your age, i would expect this to be a essential tremor. This used to be called a B9 familial tremor until it was found out that not everybody who has it has a family history of it. This type of tremor is not present when your hand is a rest but it has more of what is called an intention tremor component where as you try to use your hands the tremor gets worse. A parkinson tremor is a resting tremor with the classic three beats per second pill rolling characteristic.Any neurologist should have no difficulty diagnosing this. The treatment is Propranolol or mysoline (primidone).
