Genetic male: A phenotypic woman with genotype 46, xy is likely suffering from complete or partial androgen insensitivity, formerly known as testicular feminization. These patients lack a uterus, and usually have a blind-ending vagina. The gonads present in the patient are testicles, and not ovaries. The patient would need to utilize a donor egg and surrogate mother for the zygote.
