Can the flu turn into phnemonia?

Yes: This is a risk and the flu can be an extreme condition at times. This lowers the resistance to other invaders of your body which can include organisms causing pneumonia which can also be the flu organism. If you feel chest pain, difficulty breathing, pain under your shoulder blades and pain on thumping your chest, see your family doctor right away.
