How do you get over the hump of a plateau when on a diet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dieting plateaus: Hitting a plateau is a normal phase of sustained weight loss. Your body needs time to adjust to a new level of metabolism. Try not to be impatient. Just recognize that this normal phase is where so many people give up. Don't be one of them. If you just stick with your new habits, your weight loss will resume when your body is ready. You will hit another plateau also somewhere down the road.
