Braxton Hicks: Braxton hicks contractions are not labour pains and do not cau dilatation of the cervix.Dilatation of cervix happens with labor pains at term or before term we do not know how far your are in your pregnancy and how far your contractions are.Bh contractions come every 10 to 20 minutes.True labor contractions will be longer in length, closer in frequency and much stronger in intensity.Consult md.
