Different strains: Brewer's yeast and baker's yeast are different strains of yeast, from the same species of yeast. To use the dry bread yeast commonly sold in grocery stores, it takes a bit of work, but can be rewarding. First, mix it into flour, water, and a little salt. Knead it and leave it to rise. Afterwards, bake it in an oven until done. The result is scrumptious homemade bread, full of weight-gaining carbs!
