A member asked:

Please what is neutrophil distribution and what are the implications if it is 16.7% in a 10month old baby boy? thanks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Incomplete info: It would be useful to look at the entire report and the doctor who ordered the test is usually in the best position to interpret lab results. If the neutrophil count is 16.7% of the white blood cells, that is too low and needs to be investigated. See this site for more info. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003657.htm.
