Most Probably...: Tooth nerve inflammation. Go see your general dentist asap, you may very well need a root canal. Waiting will allow things to get worse. Right now, medication is your friend.

Burning pain is odd: Mouth pain comes in all sorts of different types. Most tooth pain is a dull ache or sharp pain to biting or cold. Burning pain is can be associated with a neuropathic (mis-behaving nerve) pain. It also might be due to inflammation in the gums or lips. You should see a general dentist to screen you and look for causes. A referral to an endodontist, periodontist, or oral surgeon might help too.
