Sinus Irrigation: The membranes of the sinus are very similar to the membranes of the mouth, so no real "damage" will occur. Inflammation on the other hand is a distinct possibility, as the sinus membranes are a bit more sensitive to flavoring additives and such found in toothpaste. Do sinus irrigations multiple times (3-4) immediately, then 3-4 over the course of the day, as needed. That should solve the issue.

Not harmful: While the tissue of the nose are more sensitive than the tissue of the mouth, it is not harmed by commonly used tooth paste. Just wash it away as best you can....But don't use tap water as there may be protozoa in it that cause more problems. Use sterile water.

No it's not: Just make sure you clean it very good with saline or sterile water through your nose as the tissues in there are more sensitive than oral cavity tissues..
