Condom and sperm: Collection of semen samples in a flavored or lubricated condom may harm the sperm and it's ability to be processed for artificial insemination. There are condoms made specifically for collection of semen samples that is to be processed for insemination and other assisted reproductive techniques. You need to ask your gynecologist or fertility specialist if this is the only way to collect a specimen.
