Fever: Leave it alone and live with it unless it is compromising some organ system by increasing loads on heart, etc. Fever appears to be one of the body's mechanisms to deal with infection (part of the immune system), and there are some diseases that can be combated with fever. If you are patently uncomfortable take Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen or Aspirin (but be careful).
