Gingival Abcesses: A "blood blister" on the gum indicates that you have a dental infection that is typically related to a nearby tooth. Dental problems of this type should be examined by your dentist, who may need to perform root canal treatment. He might also refer you to an endodontist or periodontist for their evaluation or treatment. Continue to take all the penicillin medication that was prescribed.

"Blood Blister": If it's red it may be due to trauma. If it's pink it may be due to an infection, an abscess. If it's clear it may be due to a blocked minor salivary gland duct. If it has been there for more than 2 weeks it needs immediate attention. Please see your Dentist.
