Irrational fear: Who is to say what is "rational"? To answer this we usually assume that a rational fear must be reasonable and capable of happening within an individual's actual context. Taking a good history and asking questions about a person's situation can help determine this, but not with 100% accuracy. It is clear that we all spend too much time worrying about what "might" happen rather than what is likely.
