Hern l5s1.leg&back pain.foot drop.failed s1nerveblock.emg&conduct study with nuero&brain scan clear.the drop is unexplained.any suggestions would help?

?second opinion: Your disc problem is a little low to explain foot drop, unless a disc fragment is lodged at l-5. If this involved peripheral peroneal nerve or nerve root, would usually be picked up on emg, but perhaps you have spinal cord extrinsic compression at some level, as another explanation. Mri of neck or mid-back should demonstrate whether this is an issue. Have a conference with your doctors.
