Should pass: But make your doctor aware. Pain cramping, fever, constipation are dangers. Can be followed by x-rays since it may show- ask the dentist if he sees on the dental x-rays. If very expensive - check stools and recover and sterilize - dentist can help.

Monitor: This will likely pass. She should let her dentist know and have a new one made as soon as possible. Any symptoms of abdominal pain, bloody stools or cramping should probably be followed up with md as this could become stuck in the GI tract.

Should pass: If for any reason cramps begin, you'll need to seek immediate attention. The problem is a plastic temporary will be difficult to detect on a radiograph whereas a metal bridge would be easily spotted.
