Many: Untreated or undiagnosed asthma can be dangerous. Asthma causes the your lungs to constrict. If not treated , your lungs can become more restrictive and become similar to obstructive pulmonary disease §§§§§9like those who smoke and develop lung disease (not cancer). If you are concerned get checked and treated if necessary. Goodluck.

Depends: If the asthma is mild, you may experience nothing or just a mild cough or breathing problem with exercise. If moderate or severe, then you may have limitation in your activities and often bothered by breathing problem which may even be life-threatening at times. Many people also complain of fatigue until the asthma becomes under control

Depends: Asthma is not a one type fits all diagnosis. It can be so mild you live a long life and never know you have it but have a hard to manage cough. It can be so bad you are on daily meds and die if you aren't paying attention to your treatment. The frequency of sudden death in asthma is still a problem in spite of many advances in treatment.
