When he is well: Circumcision is a rather routine procedure with low risk of complications, but if a boy is ill being a primie i.C..Not feeding/urinating/stooling well, having trouble with breathing/needs for oxygen therapy, then you should wait until he is better/stable. There is no specific age limit. It depends on the health status of the baby... Talk to your/his doc... Good luck.

Size of penis: Circumcision is done based on the size of the newborn penis. The appropriate size is estimated based upon the circumference of the glans. For a correct fit, the edge of the bell should reach the frenulum and minimally extend over the corona, slightly stretching the preputial skin.

Varies: I generally do this just before they are discharged from the feed and grow section of the nursery. If they have been stable long enough to consider discharge planning, this is an option for those parents that desire the procedure.
