A member asked:

What kind of doctor do i go to check if i have asthma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Personal physician: Your own family or internal medicine physician will be able to evaluate you for asthma. Your initial evaluation will include questions on the history of your symptoms and a physical exam. If warranted, your physician may refer you to be evaluated with pulmonary function testing, which is to measure lung volumes to evaluate for asthma objectively.
