Can you tell me what can you think of the new drug afrezza, which is an inhalable form to insulin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It works: Hi. Inhaled Insulin works, and in spite of the fact that's not the way evolution designed for Insulin to be delivered, it appears to be safe. I don't know a single type 1 who minds shots, but some type 2s don't seem to want them, so for that subset, if inhaled Insulin gets them ON Insulin when they need it, then it's a good thing!
