Possibly CT portion: If pet with contrasted ct intravenous injection of iodine based contrast material can cause itching as reaction to contrast material. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can be taken to alleviate the itching. Isotope f18 FDG used for pet portion of study does not usually cause reaction.

Itchiness...: Did they use IV contrast with the pet/ct? Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may help but check with your doctor first.
