Unusual: It is unusual to have poison ivy confined to behind the ears and face. I wonder if you actually have an allergic contact reaction to costume jewelry (ear rings ?) instead. If you apply perfume behind your ears, this can be another potential contact allergen. See a dermatologist if this fails to resolve.
