No, but: New onset diarrhea is usually self-limited and related to viral infection. Be sure to rehydrate and consider bland foods until it resolves. If it persists for more than 10 days, or you become dehydrated, develop fever, have blood in your stool or severe abdominal pain; then more urgent evaluation is warranted.
