See doctor...: Possible causes of your cough include bronchitis, bronchospasm from any etiology , gerd, post-nasal drip or a combination of factors. These all have different treatments so see your doctor so your cough can be diagnosed and treated. If you smoke, you need to quit to decrease airway inflammation. Five months is long enough!
